I was sitting at my desktop looking through some old pictures of Dru -
none of them on the blog - and thought I'd share. Hope you enjoy them
as much as I do!
the trials, trevails, and trivial nonsense of day to day life in the Sanchez family [and lots of pictures]

mulch!
Gardenia (love when they bloom!!), adult praying mantis, big pile o'
mulch, and our maple trees with the wall Gene built and the Vinca
Majors, blooming away with their new mulch. Wish you had
smell-o-vision -the tea olive is blooming like mad this year, and its
perfume is intoxicating!

My 2nd Grader!
Where oh where did my little baby go ?
It was a rainy first day of school so we took care of all the photo
fixes before getting out of the car. I can not believe he is already
in second grade! Ms. Allen is his driver again - we love (and will
miss) her!!

skink v. dragonfly
I think the skink gave up. I like the name, skink. It has a certain
ring to it, doesn't it ? These lovely leetle leezards are all over
the place in NC. And it must be dragon fly mating season because they
are too. When they're sitting they sort of look like airline tarmac
guides with their flags down, don't they?

Anyhow - I saw this drama unfolding and thought I'd share. Enjoy! Bon Apetit!
