Heritage Prairie Market

I'm not sure who enjoyed this little slice of heaven most. the kids,
the parents, the donkey who got plenty (too many) organic off the
ground apples from the kids or the kids. Not a big ordeal, but a great
place. And the sausage we had for an appetizer was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
It's only about 35 minutes away - not far at all, and well worth the
trip. Pretty, rustic, country. Loved it.

roses

Just some pretty rose pictures. I like these varieties. I planted 20
Mothers Day weekend, only 2 didn't make it (I bought the bagged ones,
they probably hadn't had any wayter to drink in 6 weeks by the time
they went in the ground! Can't wait to see what they look like next
year.

Fwd: Friends waiting for the bus :)

Ernie's friend Avery came over to play while Dee and I made some
tomato sauce to freeze for winter.  it was so special to wait for the
bus with his friend!

the looks on their faces in one of the pictures -- picture me saying, "say SNEEZE" so they all fake sneezed.

ANTS!

Thank God we're not in NC anymore. If I saw this there it would surely
have been fire ants. Instead, it was a swarm of ants on the baseball
field, along the fence. Look at the size of the newly minted queen,
who will lose her wings soon and form her own colony!

Ernie's first day on the bus!

Oh golden bus, how I love thee. You have given me such a gift!
Suddenly I have reclaimed 3 hours in the day.

Ernie was waiting (impatiently) for the bus. The phone call was
Daddy, wishing his son well on the first bus ride - all by himself.
He was a trooper, though he kept saying, when is this bus going to
*be* here *anyway* mom?

<3 I also snagged a very cute video that I'll post. Or you can look
for it on the youtube channel: www.youtube.com/mysanchezfamily
