snow!

Ernie was so happy to get to use a shovel and evelyn was so happy to play in it!

first snow of the season, 2012!

It only took an hour to shovel - much less time than it took Gene to
get to work! (2.5 hours!). Ev and Ernie romped for a while in it, got
cold and wanted in. Dru was ambitious but his desire to make some
money shoveling was quickly extinuished by his cold red cheeks. It's
all good. And I got the garbage out to boot! Those marks in the
driveway? Me trying to get BACK into my garage parked correctly (I
often park badly, because I can, after dropping Dru off at school!)

She iinsists this will be her wedding dress. And loves to wear it.
Unfortunately, though it says it's a 4t there's no way Mme Queen Potty
Pants will be sporting this for very long. It's just too small. But
adorable nonetheless, and it matches her "slippery shoes" to boot! I
also have a vid of her walking down the stairs in her heals. Hilarious
stuff.

God sent us a gift today! A beautiful day and a gorgeous sunset!

3 45+ degree days in a row in Chicago ... in January. W00t!

Christmas 2011

Since Mme Queen Potty Pants was thankful, each day in November, for a
"crown and a dress" she got -- a CROWN AND A DRESS from Santa!
Ernie is adorable on his new bike, and Dru LOVES his new bike!
they'll spend lots of time on those in the spring and summer!
