15-month well-baby

the smiles stopped promptly with the 4 shots Evelyn was so happily
reading about :(

Volunteers galore ... butternut squash and pumpkins are all over the
place! The fennel looks like it's going to be delicious. And those
tomatoes are getting so big! I can't wait to pick this stuff and eat
it with the kiddos!

Fwd: Memorial Day beach trip 2010

Oh what fun in the sun and sand! Baby girl is totally infatuated with the beach. She seems to fancy herself a sea turtle the way she propelled herself forward into the water. No amount of sand (or people or strollers or anything else for that matter) could keep her from getting into that water!!

Dru has gotten so big and loves the waves so much. And Ernie is hilarious. Still. He stopped saying "can we go home now" the instant his feet touched the sand!

Dru's 7th birthday bash!

oh what fun we had - bouncy house, basketball, painting mini birdhouses, playing in the playhouse, eating lots of stuff- grilled chicken kebobs, tabouleh, mom's onion dip, dad's black bean and roasted corn salsa, brownies, chips, carrots and celery, lemonade, water, soda, all the stuff of a wonderful birthday. There were about 50 people in our backyard last Saturday. The rain held off til about 6:30, when it teemed - the wind whipped and the backyard became a river! Happy birthday little man!
